Kintaro Ramen

This is a ramen restaurant on Robson St. This ramen house is very famous and crowded everyday. If you want to have a bowel of ramen in there, you need go to Kintaro at 5:00 p.m. or earlier. Otherwise, you will wait for a long time. They have different types of soups - rich, medium or light. They also have different types of pork - fat or lean.

This is Shio Ramen - bean sprout, menma, green onion, nori and BBQ pork. This ramen in their special soy sauce soup with pork-bone stock and natural sea salt. I recommend choose medium soup and fat pork for this ramen.

Their Gyoza - Japanese style fried dumplings. These dumplings are very delicious. The vegetables and meat inside dumplings are very fresh and crispy.

This is Chess Ramen - bean sprout, menma, green onion, corn, cheese and BBQ pork. Exquisitely balanced special miso sauce and two kinds of cheese. If you are a cheese lover, do not miss this one!

Banana Leaf

Banana Leaf

This is a Malaysian restaurant on Robson St. Their Malaysian cuisines are very delicious and tasty especially seafood. They use fresh seafood to cook everyday, and prices of seafood are reasonable market prices.

This is Gulai Seafood. A taste of the ocean: scallop, prawn, fish, mussel, clam, and squid simmered in spicy turmeric coconut sauce made of tamarind, galangal, lemon grass & ginger. This is very good seafood dish.

Pineapple Fried Rice is very famous Malaysian food. Fried rice mixed with seafood, chicken, egg, raisins, corn & sunflower seeds, served in a half pineapple boat. If you want to try sweet rice, this one is the best choice for you.

The Green Bean - Stir-fried crunchy green beans with small shrimps & tomato in chili, garlic & dried shrimp paste. This is very tasty and also mixed vegetables with seafood. I will recommend you to try this one in Banana Leaf.

Their lobster is also very fresh and daily!
