This is a Japanese restaurant on Robson St. This restaurant is near London Drugs. And it locates on the second floor, not very easy to find. Ebisu is very famous in downtown and has a great deal of delicious dishes. 




This is Tuna Takaki Delight - seared fresh tuna sashimi complimented with crushed radish topped in special sweet ponzu sauce. Tuna is daily and very fresh; the taste of tuna is very good, especially with the sweet sauce. 


Garlic Clams is a fresh and tasty one. Fresh Manlia Bay clams sauteed in special garlic butter premium grade rice wine sauce topped with scallions and lemon. If you really like seafood like clam, remembering order this one for sure.


BBQ Chicken skewer with Mentaiko cod roe mayonnaise sauce - Tarako Yakitori. When you bite a BBQ chicken with their special sauce, you will not only taste a BBQ chicken but also the love! 


They also have many good cocktails. Try one!

JapaDog - Vancouver NO.1 Food Track

This is Vancouver Downtown NO.1 food track - JapaDog! This food track is just across the street from Socitabank Theatre. They sell Japanese style hotdogs and every hotdog they have is awesome.


This is Beef Terimayo hotdog. The beef hotdog is their home-made and tasty. And then they put teriyaki sauce, mayo and seaweed to make a hot dog "handsome" and delicious.   


This is another famous one - UME. Sliced onion with special plum sauce, makes for a light refreshing taste. The seafood sausage is very fresh and tasty. Worth to buy one for your friends or lover.


Another signature hotdog contains three types of cheese with a hint of spiciness in the sausage. All that topped with Terimayo sauce makes for a tasty hot dog. This one is very famous for chess lover.


There are more than ten types of hotdogs in JapaDog. Try their no.1 and you will love this Japanese style hotdog.

Joojak Restaurant

Joojak Restaurant 



This is a Chinese restaurant on Kingsway St. This restaurant has Xi'an local food. Xi'an is my hometown and on the west of China. The noodles are very famous in my hometown. 


Chinese hamburger - a very popular food in Xi'an. The meet inside is beef and stewed for hours in a soup consisting of over 20 kinds of spices and seasonings. And bread is home-made and very crispy. When you bite a small part of a Chinese burger, the taste of wonderful meet will kill you.



Liang Pi, or steamed cold noodles, is another famous dish in Xi'an. Liangpi is a noodle-like dish made from wheat or rice flour. We usually eat it with spicy sauce, soy sauce and majiang sauce. 


Youpo Mian, a spicy noodle, is a very good option for people who love spicy food. Noodles are made from very skillful cook and also spicy sauce. Because cook always oil chilli pepper, the special spicy sauce are very tasty. Never say no to this dish if you are a pepper lover!

Bubble World

Bubble World


This is a Taiwan Style Restaurant located on Robson Street. This restaurant is next to Donburi Ya Restaurant. In this restaurant, they have milk tea and Chinese Style donburi. Their milk tea is very famous and delicious. In China, we have two different style of milk tea. One type is from Taiwan and other type is very famous in HongKong.



This is their milk tea. There are more than 10 different flavours of milk tea. I will recommend the Original milk tea, Taro milk tea and Sesame milk tea. These three types of milk tea are my favorite flavours. 


This dish may be not very normal and acceptable in Canada because this is made from pork intestine. Pork intestine is not very common in Canada but this is very famous food in China especially in Beijing. I will highly recommend you try this one. (P.S. They clean pork intestine very carefully.)

They also many many good snacks such as Pan Fried Egg Roll.

Santouka

This is a very famous Japanese Ra-men restaurant called Santouka on Robson St. Santouka is located across from CCEL student residence. If you want to have dinner in Santouka, you need arrive there at before 6:00 p.m. because Santouka is very crowded everyday.



This is their signature ramen - Shio Ramen. Shio Ramen is mild and creamy soup seasoned with salt. Shio Ramen is their only ramen that is topped off with a Japanese pickled plum.


This is another ramen called Miso Ramen. Soup of this ramen is made from a mixture of pork broth and a rich and hearty miso paste. They use different pork broth to bring out the miso flavour.


Their pork dumplings are also very delicious and tasty. When you bite a dumpling with soy sauce, the pork flavour and salty taste are around your mouth. 


Their Onigiri (Rice Ball) is a good choice for snack after workouts or longtime study.

Donburi Ya

Donburi Ya

This is a Japanese restaurant on Robson Street named Donburi Ya. Donburi is a Japanese "rice bowl dish" consisting of fish, meat, vegetables or other ingredients simmered together and served over rice. In this restaurant, the price is very reasonable!


Teriyaki Don - rice covered by chicken,lettuce and bean sprouts with teriyaki sauce. Teriyaki is a cooking technique used in Japanese cuisine in which foods are broiled or grilled with a glaze of soy sauce, mirin, and sugar. This dish is their famous and recommended one.


If you want a spicy lunch, Buta-Kim Don is a good choice. Buta-Kim Don - rice covered by pork, kimchi, lettuce and bean sprouts. This one is also very popular dish in Donburi Ya.


This is their menu. For a snack, I will recommend karaage - the Japan Style fried chicken. Their curry is also very good.

Sapporo Sushi

This is a wonderful sushi shop near to McDonald's on Robson Street. This restaurant is very cheap and a good place to go with your friends or family. In addition, they also have day special sushi which are around $7.

This is their homemade Takoyaki with ketchup and sweet sauces. These small squid balls are very tasty and soft. When you eat a whole tokoyaki in your mouth, the tastes of sweet sauce, egg and squid are all around your mouth.

If you're a vegetarian or like vegetables, this dish you must try. This is called vegetable tempura. Tempura is a Japanese dish of seafood or vegetables that have been battered and deep fried. They also have shrimp tempura and tofu tempura.

Sapporo's sushi is also delicious. I will recommend dragon roll, teriyaki chicken roll and California roll.

This is a Korean restaurant on Robson Street. Food are very spicy and delicious in there. If you are addicted to spicy, this Korean restaurant is an awesome option for you. 
This is a very famous Korean style pancake - seafood pancake. They usually put squid, oysters and shrimp. When you bite it with soy sauce, the smell of fresh seafood and egg is around your whole mouth.


Pork Back-Bone Hot Pot is another dish I strongly recommend. They use the wonderful pork back-bone to stew soup for more than two hours. Then they put tofu and vegetables into the soup. When you have this hot pot, they will give you rice to eat with. (Note: Very Spicy)


A traditional Korean food - Spicy Rice Cake. This dish made from rice cake, green onion, hard boiled eggs and fish cakes. If you want to order this delicious dish, remembering order two cups of water. Trust me, you will need a great deal of water to alleviate spicy taste in your mouth.

Bon Crepe

This is a Japanese ice cream shop which is next to the Japanese market on Robson street. This shop sells its special green tea ice cream and many kinds of Japanese style crepes.


The left picture is a green tea ice cream. Green tea flavor is very famous in Japanese. Imaging that you eat a cup of iced green tea instead of a cup of hot tea in summer. How wonderful it is! If you want something more than a green tea ice cream, green tea parfait is a good option for you. You can get anything you need in this delicious cup.










Crepe is a type of very thin pancake, usually made from wheat flour. This snack came from France and then Japanese people make their own types of crepes.

In  Bon Crepe, you can get many types of crepes - a great deal of fruits, cookies and chocolate. When you have a crepe, you should know how to eat it correctly.
